ALEA HOPE

ALEA HOPE

In 2008, one of the most symbolic and significant presidents of the United States was the image of what began as a simple poster for his campaign: the poster of “Hope” by the artist Shepard Fairey. In January 2009, and once approved by Obama, Hope progressively became one of the most iconic images of the 21st century – currently being exhibited at the Smithsonian Institution. But that’s not the end of the story for Alea. Currently the gallery proudly features 79 personalized illustrations of artists that marked a before and after, throughout the eyes of Hope.
